The execution

For this school project, we had complete creative freedom to build a brand from scratch. I chose to develop Amberga, a beer brand inspired by my experience moving to Bergamo. The concept was aimed at beer drinkers looking for something beyond the usual brew—offering four distinct flavors, each designed to bring a certain personality to the can:

• Honey Ginger Lemon – A refreshing, slightly spicy twist with a warm, zesty balance for the summer.
• Golden Ale & Orange – A bright, crisp ale with citrusy depth, perfect for those who dont want to overthink it.
• Cherry Berry Lambic – A tart and fruity take on the classic lambic style, for playful and bold people.
• Stout Cocoa & Coffee – A deep, rich stout with deep roasted notes, for cozy and relaxed sipping.

The visual identity was inspired by Tônica Antarctica, a classic Brazilian tonic water known for its delicate, almost fantastical sketches. I incorporated this concept by using AI-generated ingredient illustrations (MidJourney), giving the cans an artistic, handmade feel. Against the black matte background, the sketches create a chalkboard-like aesthetic, reinforcing a crafted and premium look.
